Omschrijving
De uit 1900 daterende CONSISTORIEKAMER, welke ten noordwesten van de Ned. Herv. dorpskerk is gelegen en daarmee wordt verbonden door middel van een tussenaanbouw, is één bouwlaag hoog op een rechthoekige plattegrond. Het pand wordt gedekt door een zadeldak bedekt met grijze platte Friese pannen. De noklijn van het pand loopt parallel aan de kerk.
De consistoriekamer is opgetrokken in rode baksteen op een uitgemetselde plint. Op de hoeken van de gevels zijn hoeklisenen uitgemetseld die doorlopen tot circa 0,5 meter boven de goot. De kopse zijden van het pand worden door eentuitgevel afgesloten die bekroond is met een natuurstenen decoratie.
De oostgevel bezit op de begane grond een driedelig houten schuifvenster en in de geveltop een ijzeren roosvenster. Deze gevelzijde is versierd met detailleringen van oranje, gele en donkergrijze baksteen. Rondom de vensters en in een horizontale baksteen laag tussen de begane grond en de verdieping bevinden zich deze versieringen. Voorts is de oostgevel met een drietal gietijzeren siermuurankers in rozetvorm versierd. Links onderaan bevindt zich in de oostgevel een natuurstenen gedenksteen met de tekst: "16 AUGUSTUS 1900 DE EERSTE STEEN AAN DIT GEBOUW GELEGD DOOR N. DEKKER PRESIDENT KERKVOOGD".
De lange noordgevel is door middel van drie uitgemetselde lisenen in vier traveeën verdeeld. In de twee rechter traveeën bevindt zich een houten T-schuifvenster. De overige traveeën zijn blind.
De westgevel bezit op de begane grond een houten schuifvenster en in de topgevel een ijzeren roosvenster. In deze gevelzijde bevinden zich enkele ijzeren muurankers.
De zuidgevel is door de daarlangs gelegen tussenaanbouw die de consistoriekamer met de kerk verbindt, nauwelijks zichtbaar.
Waardering
De consistoriekamer is als onderdeel van het complex van architectuurhistorisch, cultuurhistorisch en typologisch belang.

Description
The VESTRY ROOM, dating from 1900, which is located to the northwest of the Protestant church and is connected to it by means of an intervening structure, is one storey high on a rectangular floor plan. The building is covered by a gabled roof covered with grey flat Frisian tiles. The ridge line of the building runs parallel to the church.
The vestry room is constructed of red brick on a rendered plinth. On the corners of the facades are rendered corner strips which continue to approximately 0.5 metre above the gutter. The gabled ends of the building are closed by a spout gable which is crowned with a natural stone decoration.
The east facade possesses on the ground floor a three-part wooden sash window and in the gable top an iron grille window. This facade side is decorated with detailing of orange, yellow and dark grey brick. Around the windows and in a horizontal brick course between the ground floor and the upper storey are these decorations. Furthermore, the east facade is decorated with three cast-iron wall anchors (ornamental) in rosette form. At the lower left of the east facade is a natural stone memorial stone with the text: "16 AUGUST 1900 THE FOUNDATION STONE OF THIS BUILDING WAS LAID BY N. DEKKER PRESIDENT CHURCH WARDEN".
The long north facade is divided by means of three rendered strips into four bays. In the two right bays is a wooden T-sash window. The remaining bays are blind.
The west facade possesses on the ground floor a wooden sash window and in the gable an iron grille window. In this facade side are some iron wall anchors.
The south facade is scarcely visible due to the intervening structure along it that connects the vestry room to the church.
