Stadswerkhuis. Enorm blokvormig complex met vier binnenplaatsen (1779-1782 door Abraham van der Hart). Voorgevel met trapsgewijs uitspringende risalieten, waarvan de voorste met gebeeldhouwd fronton; hoekblokken, deur en zijvensters in geblokte omlijstingen. Lange erfmuur met steunberen en poortjes aan de Nieuwe Kerkstraat.

Front facade with stepped-out risalits, of which the front one with sculptured pediment; corner blocks, door and side windows in channelled frames.
