Inleiding
Geheel vrijstaand, voormalig elektriciteitsverdeelstation van het type "hoogtoren"; omstreeks 1928 in een sobere, functionele stijl gebouwd in verband met aansluiting van Dreischor op het provinciale, destijds bovengronds aangelegde, elektriciteitsnet van de P.Z.E.M. Het object vormt een van de meest gave voorbeelden van dit, in Noord-Zeeland en Zeeuwsch-Vlaanderen nog sporadisch voorkomende type.
Omschrijving
De slanke, ca. 8,5 m. hoge toren op rechthoekige plattegrond werd geplaatst aan de rand van de dorpskern aan de buitenring en is opgetrokken uit roodbruine baksteen in staandverband, voorzien van enig sober siermetselwerk in donkere baksteen onder en boven de ramen en boven de deuren.
In oorsprong tegenover elkaar in de "kopgevels" geplaatste houten panelendeuren met zware siergehengen en grepen. De deur met kozijn in de achtergevel is verwijderd en de gevelopening dichtgemetseld. Lage houten raampjes bevinden zich op de begane grond en geheel bovenin de toren. De toren is voorzien van een klein zadeldakje met sobere windveren en boeiboorden, gedekt met rode pannen.
Aan zijgevels en achtergevel bevinden zich hoog aan de gevels ijzeren voorzieningen ter bevestiging van de elektriciteitsdraden, terwijl aan de achtergevel nog aansluitingen met porceleinen isolatoren aanwezig zijn.
Waardering
Zeer herkenbaar en ook in details karakteristiek voormalig "P.Z.E.M." hoogtoren verdeelstation, dat de wijzigingen in het distributiesysteem van dit voor de ontwikkeling van de streek belangrijke nutsbedrijf weerspiegelt.

The object is one of the best preserved examples of this type, still sporadically occurring in North Zealand and Zeelandic Flanders.
Description
The slender, approximately 8.5 m high tower on rectangular plan was placed at the edge of the village centre at the outer ring and is constructed of reddish-brown brickwork in stretcher bond, provided with some sober decorative brickwork in dark brickwork below and above the windows and above the doors.
Originally placed opposite each other in the "end gables" wooden panel doors with heavy ornamental hinges and handles. The door with frame in the rear gable has been removed and the gable opening bricked up. Low wooden window panes are found on the ground floor and right at the top of the tower. The tower is provided with a small gabled roof with sober wind braces and verge boards, covered with red tiles.
On side gables and rear gable, high on the facades, are iron fittings for fastening the electricity wires, while on the rear gable there are still connections with porcelain insulators.
Valuation
Very recognizable and also in details characteristic former "P.Z.E.M." high tower distribution station, which reflects the changes in the distribution system of this utility company of importance for the development of the region.
