Inleiding
Woning, voormalige pastorie, met vijf traveeën brede lijstge- vel met verdieping, in de huidige vorm rond 1890 in eclectische stijl ontstaan, mogelijk bij verbouwing van twee panden uit het begin van de 19de eeuw. Het half vrijstaande object bevindt zich in de hoofdstraat van het dorp. De garage valt buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
De voorgevel, in eclectische stijl, is opgetrokken uit rode machinale baksteen in kruisverband en voorzien van gepleisterde plint, banden, fries, raamdorpels en aanzet- en sluitstenen in de ontlastingsbogen; vlakke hoeklisenen. Houten, 2x3 ruits schuiframen, op de begane grond behangen met persiennes; iets verdiept liggende entree met pilaster-achtige stijlen; rijk bewerkte deur en getoogd bovenlicht met levensboom.
U-vormig omgezet wolfdak met doorlopend schild aan de voorgevel, gedekt met rode hollandse pannen.
Aan de linkerzijde van het pand bevindt zich een gemetselde poort, waarvan de doorgang wordt geflankeerd door blindnissen; de poort wordt aan de bovenzijde afgesloten door een ijzeren hekwerk.
De zijgevels zijn opgetrokken uit mogelijk vroeg 19e eeuwse gele ijsselsteentjes en voorzien van houten gootklossen. De achter- en zijgevels zijn voorzien van ijzeren goten.
De uit rode machinale baksteen opgetrokken achtergevel is op de begane grond voorzien van eenvoudige 6-ruits schuiframen en op de verdieping van empireramen met imitatie stolpnaald; centrale houten deur met bovenlicht. Boven deze deur een gedenksteen met de tekst "IHM anno 1803".
Rijk interieur met elementen uit zowel het begin als het eind van de 19de eeuw, zoals onder andere in de kamer en suite op de begane grond rijke stucplafonds en schoorsteenmantels met in klassieke stijl uitgevoerd stucwerk en zwart marmeren schouwen. Originele, houten deuren, keukenschouw met tegeltableau; in de hal een glazen tussenwand (tochtpui) met geetste figuren in de ruiten in de boven- en zijlichten en in de deur. Op de verdieping onder meer een bedstede en diverse originele kastdeuren.
Waardering
Woning met gave, voor de verbouwtijd karakteristieke, architectuur; door verhoudingen, architectuur en afmetingen bepalend voor het voorname straatbeeld, als zodanig van ensemblewaarde. Als een der grootste dorpspanden, met voornaam voorkomen, karakteristiek voor de voormalige functie als pastorie en als zodanig van cultuurhistorische waarde.

Dwelling, former parsonage, with five-bay wide cornice-topped facade with upper storey, in its present form created around 1890 in eclectic style, possibly on conversion of two buildings from the early 19th century. Description
The front facade, in eclectic style, is constructed of red machine-made brickwork in cross-bond and provided with rendered plinth, bands, frieze, window lintels and setting and closing stones in the relieving arches; flat corner pilasters. Wooden, 2x3 paned sash windows, on the ground floor hung with venetian blinds; slightly recessed entrance with pilaster-like stiles; richly worked door and arched fanlight with tree of life.
U-shaped half-hipped roof with continuous shield at the front facade, covered with red Dutch tiles.
On the left side of the building there is a masonry gateway, the passage of which is flanked by blind niches; the gateway is closed at the top by an iron lattice.
The side facades are constructed of possibly early 19th-century yellow Ijssel brick and provided with wooden gutter brackets. The rear and side facades are provided with iron gutters.
The rear facade constructed of red machine-made brickwork is provided on the ground floor with simple 6-paned sash windows and on the upper storey with Empire windows with imitation pointed finial; central wooden door with fanlight. Above this door a commemorative stone with the text "IHM anno 1803".
Richly decorated interior with elements from both the beginning and end of the 19th century, such as among others in the en suite room on the ground floor rich stucco ceilings and chimney mantels with stuccowork executed in classical style and black marble fireplaces. Original, wooden doors, kitchen chimney with tile tableau; in the hall a glass internal partition (draught lobby) with etched figures in the panes in the upper and side windows and in the door. On the upper storey among others a bed-niche and various original cupboard doors.
Valuation
Dwelling with intact, characteristic architecture of the conversion period; through proportions, architecture and dimensions determining the dignified street frontage, as such of ensemble value. As one of the largest village buildings, with dignified appearance, characteristic of the former function as parsonage and as such of cultural-historical value.
