Inleiding
Met elementen van het Eclecticisme omstreeks 1887 gebouwd WOONHUIS. In 1927 werd het woonhuis verbouwd naar een ontwerp van architect H. Kremer uit Vaals en in opdracht van notaris Mostart te Gulpen. De drie dakkapellen en de erker in de achtergevel dateren uit 1927.
Omschrijving
Het halfvrijstaande woonhuis heeft een in de lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt met een zadeldak met tuiles du Nord pannen. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is baksteen en stucwerk. Symmetrische indeling frontgevel. Gestucte plint. Houten segmentboogvormige T-vensters met glas in lood bovenlichten. Houten segmentboogvormige deur met glas in lood bovenlicht. Rond de vensters en de deur zijn stucomlijstingen aangebracht. Onder de dakrand bevindt zich een decoratieve stucrand. In de achtergevel in de eerste bouwlaag een halfronde erker met plat dak.
Dit architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de streekgebonden architectuur en de toegepaste ornamentiek. Het woonhuis is van algemeen belang op grond van de architectonische gaafheid en de regionale zeldzaamheid.

DWELLING HOUSE built circa 1887 with elements of Eclecticism. In 1927 the dwelling house was converted after a design by architect H. Kremer from Vaals and on the instructions of notary Mostart in Gulpen. The three roof dormers and the bay window in the rear gable date from 1927.
Description
The semi-detached dwelling house has a rectangular floor plan placed in the longitudinal direction, has two storeys and is covered with a gabled roof with tuiles du Nord tiles. The building material used is brick and stucco. Symmetrical layout of front gable. Stuccoed plinth. Wooden segment-arched T-windows with stained-glass fanlights.
