Omschrijving
NOORDELIJKE MOESTUINMUUR. Rode bakstenen, deels door een ezelsrug bekroonde moestuinmuur uit ca. 1886, die de moestuin aan de noordzijde afsluit. Aan de buitenzijde wordt de muur door steunberen gestut. Aan de moestuin-zijde wordt de muur door een uitspringde lijst van strekken met eronder vooruitspringende en terugliggende koppen afgesloten. Halverwege wordt de muur door een doorgang onderbroken. Deze doorgang wordt aan weerszijden geflankeerd door een pijler, die wordt afgesloten door twee licht uitzwenkende haaks op elkaar staande blokken met zadeldak-vormig sluitstuk. Aan de westzijde, even terzijde van het rentmeestershuis, wordt de muur beëindigd door een aan de pijlers aan weerszijden van de doorgang identieke pijler.

Description
NORTHERN KITCHEN GARDEN WALL. Red brick, partly topped with a dog-leg coping, kitchen garden wall from c. 1886, which closes off the kitchen garden on the northern side. On the outer side the wall is buttressed by supporting piers. On the kitchen garden side the wall is finished with a projecting course of bricks with protruding and recessed headers underneath. Halfway along, the wall is interrupted by a passage. This passage is flanked on both sides by a pier, which is finished with two slightly splayed blocks set at right angles to each other with a saddle-roof-shaped cap. On the western side, just beside the steward's house, the wall is terminated by a pier identical to the piers on either side of the passage.
