Inleiding
PASTORIE in oorsprong daterend uit de achttiende eeuw maar rond 1880 grotendeels vernieuwd in opdracht van de Hervormde Kerk van Peize. Van oorsprong lag de pastorie buiten het dorp omdat het gebouw aanvankelijk ook als boerderij in gebruik was (een verbouwde schuur getuigt hiet nog van). De predikant kreeg zodoende een deel van zijn inkomen uit het boerenbedrijf. Vermeldenswaardig is de oprijlaan met dubbele rij eiken. De bescherming omvat het rond 1880 gebouwde woonhuis; de de sterk verbouwde schuur en de bijgeplaatste garage vallen wegens te weinig monumentale waarden buiten de bescherming.
Omschrijving
Op rechthoekige grondslag gebaseerde pastorie, bestaande uit een bouwlaag en gedekt door een met pannen belegd schilddak met aan de voorzijde een verhoogd middengedeelte; (niet origineel gedetailleerde) schoorstenen; eenvoudige goten op klossen. Gepleisterde gevels met plint; getoogde vensters; eenvoudig deels gewijzigde daklijst. De symmetrisch ingedeelde voorgevel heeft in het midden een paneeldeur met gietijzeren sierroosters en getoogd bovenlicht in een gepleisterde en geprofileerde omlijsting. Het verhoogde middenstuk heeft schijnvoegen; in het midden een blindnis voorzien van omlijsting; aan weerszijden een getoogd raam; hoekrisalieten op bewerkte consoles.

PARSONAGE originally dating from the eighteenth century but largely renewed around 1880 on the commission of the Reformed Church of Peize. Originally the parsonage lay outside the village because the building was initially also used as a farmhouse (a converted barn still bears witness to this). Description
Parsonage based on a rectangular ground plan, consisting of one storey and covered by a hipped roof tiled with tiles with an elevated central section at the front; (not originally detailed) chimneys; simple gutters on brackets. Plastered facades with plinth; arched windows; simple partly altered cornice. The symmetrically arranged front facade has in the centre a panelled door with cast-iron ornamental grilles and an arched fanlight in a plastered and moulded frame. The elevated central section has false joints; in the centre a blind niche provided with a frame; on either side an arched window; corner projections on worked consoles.
