Mooi gelegen, het overgangsgebied tussen Friesland en Overijssel typerende, in aanleg 18e-eeuwse voormalige BOERDERIJ met, blijkens jaartalsteen, in 1878 vernieuwde voorgevel en begin 19e-eeuws bedrijfsgedeelte met dwarsdeel en centrale tasruimte.
Het gedeeltelijk onderkelderde in aanleg 18e-eeuwse woongedeelte driebeukig en gedekt door een met pannen belegd zadeldak; topschoorsteen; staafankers.
In de blijkens de jaartalsteen in 1878 vernieuwde voorgevel drie keldervensters met tralies, drie zesruitsschuiframen en twee zolderramen.
Het bedrijfsgedeelte in de vorm van een stolp met flauwe helling, daterend uit het begin van de 19e eeuw en gedekt door een rieten aan voorzijde afgewolfd schilddak met gesneden uileborden; vlechtingen; staafankers.
