Omschrijving
Deels 18e deels 19e eeuwse, in vakwerk, schoon metselwerk en mergel opgetrokken gesloten Limburgse HOEVE rond vijfzijdige binnenplaats, ten dele met verdieping, onder met blauwe en rode Hollandse pannen gedekte zadeldaken en met een losse, in vakwerk, mergel en baksteen opgetrokken schuur onder met blauwe Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak aan de noordzijde.
De vakwerkgevels hebben hoofdzakelijk met baksteen gevulde en aan de noordzijde witgeschilderde vakken en zwart stijl- en regelwerk.
Aan de westzijde het - met uitzondering van de noordelijke, in vakwerk opgetrokken puntgevel - in mergel opgetrokken, vijf vensterassen brede, witgeschilderde woonhuis met grijze plint, 6-ruits ramen op de begane grond en de verdieping en deur met gedeeld bovenlicht in de westgevel.
Het hierop aansluitende woongedeelte langs de noordzijde heeft een in vakwerk opgetrokken noordgevel, waarin twee deuren met gedeeld bovenlicht en twee vensters, en een in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken zuidgevel, waarin twee 6-ruits vensters en een deur op de begane grond en twee 4-ruits vensters op de verdieping.
De hier weer op aansluitende schuur langs de oostzijde heeft een in vakwerk opgetrokken noordgevel (topgevel) met 4-ruits vensters, een in vakwerk opgetrokken oostgevel met vijf kleine 4-ruits vensters, een met pannen beklede geveltop aan de zuidzijde en een in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken westgevel, waarin hoge rechtgesloten deeldeuren, drie staldeuren en een 4-ruits stalraam.
Aansluitend langs de Z.O.- en Z.W.zijde een lage, haakvormige, in schoon metselwerk opgetrokken, ten dele open schuur onder omlopend zadeldak met schild aan de N.Z.-zijde.
De losse schuur heeft in de zuidgevel een getoogde poort.
Vanwege de hoofdvorm, de constructie, de vrij bescheiden gevelopeningen en de gaafheid als complex een fraai en representatief voorbeeld van een ten dele in vakwerk opgetrokken, in oorsprong 18e eeuwse gesloten Limburgse hoeve met losse schuur en als zodanig van belang uit oogpunt van oudheidkundige en volkskundige waarde.

Description
Partly 18th partly 19th century closed Limburgian FARMHOUSE constructed in timber framing, ashlar masonry and marl around a five-sided courtyard, partly with an upper storey, covered with blue and red Dutch tile gabled roofs and with a detached barn constructed in timber framing, marl and brick, covered with blue Dutch tile gabled roof on the north side.
The timber-framed facades have primarily brick-filled bays and, on the north side, whitewashed bays and black posts and rails.
On the west side the – with the exception of the northern pointed gable constructed in timber framing – dwelling house constructed in marl, five window bays wide, whitewashed with grey plinth, 6-pane windows on the ground floor and upper storey and door with divided fanlight in the west facade.
The adjoining residential section along the north side has a north facade constructed in timber framing, with two doors with divided fanlights and two windows, and a south facade constructed in ashlar masonry, with two 6-pane windows and a door on the ground floor and two 4-pane windows on the upper storey.
The adjoining barn along the east side has a north facade (gable end) constructed in timber framing with 4-pane windows, an east facade constructed in timber framing with five small 4-pane windows, a gable top covered with tiles on the south side and a west facade constructed in ashlar masonry, with high straight half-doors, three stable doors and a 4-pane stable window.
Adjacent along the S.E. and S.W. sides a low, hook-shaped barn constructed in ashlar masonry, partly open, under a continuous gabled roof with half-hipped end on the N.S. side.
The detached barn has an arched gateway in the south facade.
Because of the main form, the construction, the relatively modest facade openings and the integrity as a complex a fine and representative example of a partly timber-framed, originally 18th-century closed Limburgian farmhouse with detached barn and as such of importance from the perspective of archaeological and ethnological value.
