Omschrijving
De grafkelder bevindt zich links van de thans in gebruik zijnde hoofdingang van de in 1725 gebouwde zaalkerk. De kelder bestaat uit een bakstenen bouwwerk van een bouwlaag op rechthoekige grondslag met een topgevel aan de voorzijde en daarop een zadeldak, en aan beide zijden lagere lessenaarsdaken; de daken zijn met lood bekleed. De kelder is voorzien van een natuurstenen bordes van drie treden, om het bordes is een ijzeren hekwerk geplaatst.
De toegang tot de kelder bevindt zich in de voorgevel van het gebouwtje; de ingang wordt gevormd door een rondbogige muuropening (zonder deur); als ornamenten zijn aangebracht lofwerk, dat de rondboog omvat, en een klimmend boogfries langs de daklijst, beide ornamenten zijn uitgevoerd in natuursteen. Achter de rondboog volgen drie treden omlaag naar een door kruisribben overwelfde vierkante ruimte in het midden, die links en rechts uitloopt in een door een rondboog aan de bovenzijde afgesloten ondiepe arm; tegen de achterwand een reliëf in rondboogomlijsting met driepas, met aan beide zijden een halfzuil met basement en Composiet kapiteel; het reliëf verbeeldt een menselijke figuur met gevouwen handen en in een lang gewaad gehuld, die door twee engelen ten hemel wordt gedragen, terwijl een derde engel in het midden boven deze groep zweeft; aan de voet van dit reliëf is een marmeren doodskist geplaatst met de inscriptie Corneli 1877 (Albert Corneli overleed 20 januari 1877 in Menton en werd hier bijgezet); uit de literatuur blijkt dat diverse leden van deze familie (en hun rechtsopvolgers de baronnen de Selys) in deze kelder zijn bijgezet; in de beide armen zijn door vierdeling nissen gecreëerd, die met natuurstenen platen (zonder inscriptie) zijn afgesloten; de linker wand is gedeeltelijk open gemaakt, ervoor staat een loden grafkist met een onbekend familiewapen.

Description
The burial vault is located to the left of the presently used main entrance of the hall church built in 1725. The vault consists of a brick structure of one storey on a rectangular ground plan with a gable-end at the front and thereon a gabled roof, and on both sides lower lean-to roofs; the roofs are covered with lead. The vault is provided with a natural stone platform of three steps, around the platform an iron railing is placed.
The access to the vault is located in the front facade of the small building; the entrance is formed by a semi-circular wall opening (without door); as ornaments foliage work has been applied, which encompasses the semi-circular arch, and a climbing arch frieze along the roof line, both ornaments are executed in natural stone. Behind the semi-circular arch follow three steps downwards to a square space in the middle covered with cross ribs, which extends left and right into a shallow arm closed off at the top by a semi-circular arch; against the rear wall a relief in semi-circular frame with trefoil, with on both sides a half-column with base and Composite capital; the relief depicts a human figure with folded hands and clad in a long garment, who is carried to heaven by two angels, while a third angel hovers in the middle above this group; at the foot of this relief is placed a marble coffin with the inscription Corneli 1877 (Albert Corneli died 20 January 1877 in Menton and was buried here); from the literature it appears that various members of this family (and their successors the barons de Selys) were buried in this vault; in both arms niches have been created by quartering, which are closed off with natural stone plates (without inscription); the left wall is partially opened up, in front of it stands a lead coffin with an unknown family coat of arms.
