Omschrijving
De BROUWERIJ heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond met daarop een bouwlaag, en is gedekt door een met rode pannen belegd zadeldak; de zijgevel aan de Sint-Sebastiaanstraat is gecementeerd en bevat rechts naast een kleine houten deur een tweelicht met kruisroede; links van de deur een drielicht, en eveneens aan die zijde een smal venster; de rechter zijgevel heeft een boogvormig beëindigd houten zolderluik en een oculus in de top met daarin een houten vulling, waarop het embleem (de roos) van de brouwerij.
De indeling van de brouwerij is als volgt: aan de zijde van het Vrijthof bevindt zich de lagerkelder met houten toegangsdeuren, troggewelfjes en stenen trap naar de bottelruimte; boven deze lagerkelder is de zogenaamde moutzolder aangebracht; achter de bottelruimte twee boven elkaar gelegen brouwzalen.
Aan apparatuur en voorzieningen bevat de brouwerij in de bottelruimte een aantal elektromotoren en aandrijfmechanismen; in de brouwzalen op de begane grond de in steen gemetselde koperen brouwketels van 20 hectoliter en 12 hectoliter met aftapkranen en stookgaten, een waterput en pomp, en in de bovenste brouwzaal een zinken koelschip van 32 hectoliter en de bierpomp.

Description
The BREWERY has a rectangular ground plan with a single storey, and is covered by a gabled roof laid with red tiles; the side elevation on Sint-Sebastiaanstraat is cemented and contains to the right of a small wooden door a two-light with cross mullion; to the left of the door a three-light, and likewise on that side a narrow window; the right side elevation has an arch-shaped ended wooden hayloft opening and an oculus at the top with wooden infill, bearing the emblem (the rose) of the brewery.
The layout of the brewery is as follows: on the side of the Vrijthof is the lower cellar with wooden access doors, barrel vaults and stone staircase to the bottling room; above this lower cellar the so-called malt floor has been placed; behind the bottling room two brewing halls situated one above the other.
For equipment and facilities, the brewery contains in the bottling room a number of electric motors and drive mechanisms; in the brewing halls on the ground floor the copper brewing kettles of 20 hectolitres and 12 hectolitres laid in stone with taps and stoking holes, a water well and pump, and in the upper brewing hall a zinc cooling vessel of 32 hectolitres and the beer pump.
