Omschrijving
TWEE VAZEN, elkaars pendant vormend ter weerszijden van de toegangsbrug naar het voorplein over de buitengracht. Gebeeldhouwde zandstenen vazen met deksels, op de romp versierd met (blanke) gekroonde alliantiewapens tussen bladranken (begin 18e eeuw), geplaatst op gebeeldhouwde zandstenen sokkels in Lodewijk XIV-vormen (19e eeuw ?).
Zij behoren tot een serie van vier, waarvan de twee andere als voetstuk dienen voor de ten oosten van de slotgracht geplaatste urnen (aldaar opgesteld voor 1900).

Description
TWO VASES, forming pendants on either side of the access bridge to the forecourt over the buitengracht. Carved sandstone vases with lids, on the body decorated with (blank) crowned alliance armorials between leaf tendrils (early 18th century), placed on carved sandstone pedestals in Louis XIV forms (19th century ?).
They belong to a series of four, of which the two others serve as bases for the urns placed to the east of the castle moat (arranged there before 1900).
