WESTELIJKE BOERDERIJ. Boerderijtje van het zeldzame kop-romp-type (reductie van het West-Groningse kop-hals-romptype), behorende tot de zgn. Friesehuis-groep (19e eeuw of ouder).
Woongedeelte onder pannengedekt zadeldak; topgevel met vlechtingen. Bedrijfsgedeelte onder wolfdak met oeleborden en pannenstroken aan de voet (verder oorspronkelijk met riet gedekt); inwendig centrale tasvakken, zijdelingse deel met deuren in voor- en achtergevel en stallingen langs de zijkanten.

WESTERN FARMHOUSE. Small farmhouse of the rare head-body type (reduction of the West-Groningen head-neck-body type), belonging to the so-called Friesehuis group (19th century or older).
Living quarters under tile-covered gabled roof; gable top with wattle. Business section under half-hipped roof with oeleborden and tile strips at the base (originally further thatched with reed); internally central haystacks, lateral section with doors in front and rear gable and stabling along the sides.
