Omschrijving
In oorsprong 17e-eeuwse, doch in de 19e eeuw ten dele gewijzigde, boerderij van het Noord-Hollandse stolptype onder deels met pannen en deels met riet gedekt stolpdak, met trapgevel aan de voorzijde en met onder zadeldak aangebouwd achterhuis, en genaamd "de Twaalf Apostelen". De van staafankers voorziene voorgevel heeft een witgeverfde plint, een vijftal zesruits-schuifvensters en in de trapgevel natuurstenen banden en afdeklijsten, jaartalstenen met opschrift Anno 1641, een negenruitsschuifvenster, een oeil-de-boeuf, een toppilaster met vaasvormige bekroning. De linkerzijgevel bevat bij het woongedeelte twee keldervensters en bij het bedrijfsgedeelte een houten beschot (gepotdekseld). De rechterzijgevel bezit in het woongedeelte een negenruits-schuifvenster en de ingang, en is bij het bedrijfsgedeelte en bij de achteraanbouw - in afwijking van de oorspronkelijke vormgeving - gecementeerd en van steunberen voorzien. In de achtergevel dubbele dwarsdeuren (NW-zijde); de gevel van de achteraanbouw vernieuwd. Te rechterzijde de vrijstaande 19e- vroeg 20e-eeuwse wagenschuur annex varkensstal, opgetrokken in baksteen, afgewisseld door gele siersteen-bogen, boven de - groengeverfde - deuren, vensters en luiken, onder pannen zadeldak tussen puntgevels met makelaars, en aan de oostzijde een lage, aangekapte aanbouw.
Boerderij en wagenschuur van eenvoudige doch harmonische architectuur en met voor de respectievelijke bouwperioden kenmerkende details, en vanuit dien hoofde van belang; stolpboerderij tevens van belang als een der oudste in de in 1635 drooggemaakte Schermerpolder gestichte boerderijen.

Description
Originally 17th-century, but in part modified in the 19th century, farmhouse of the North Holland staircase-gable type with a roof partly covered with tiles and partly with thatch, with a stepped gable on the front and with a rear house built under a gabled roof, and named "de Twaalf Apostelen". The front facade, provided with rod anchors, has a whitewashed plinth, five six-pane sash windows and in the stepped gable natural stone bands and capping mouldings, date stones with the inscription Anno 1641, a nine-pane sash window, an oculus, a top pilaster with vase-shaped crowning. The left side facade contains two cellar windows at the residential part and at the commercial part a wooden boarding (covered with pot-lids). The right side facade has a nine-pane sash window in the residential part and the entrance, and at the commercial part and at the rear addition - in deviation from the original design - is cemented and provided with buttresses. In the rear facade double cross doors (NW side); the facade of the rear addition has been renewed. To the right side the detached 19th to early 20th-century wagon shed combined with pig sty, constructed in brick, alternated by yellow decorative stone arches, above the - green-painted - doors, windows and shutters, under a tiled gabled roof between stepped gables with ornamental stone finials, and on the east side a low attached addition.
Farmhouse and wagon shed of simple yet harmonious architecture and with details characteristic of their respective building periods, and of importance for this reason; the staircase-gable farmhouse is also of importance as one of the oldest farmhouses built in the Schermerpolder, which was drained in 1635.
