Gedeelte van de Linie Ochten-Spees. Van deze op het einde van de 18e eeuw aangelegde linie is onder meer bewaard gebleven een deel van het Werk op de Rijnbandijk aan de Spees, gelegen ten Noorden van de Rijnbandijk, bestaande uit een (grotendeels verlande) hoofdgracht, een hoofdwal en een terreplein. Van het terreplein is alleen beschermd een strook van 15 meter breedte die de binnenzijde van de hoofdwal volgt.

Description
Section of the Line Ochten-Spees. From this line, laid out at the end of the 18th century, there has been preserved, amongst other things, a section of the Work on the Rijnbandijk at the Spees, located to the north of the Rijnbandijk, consisting of a (largely silted-up) main ditch, a main rampart and a terreplein. Of the terreplein only a strip 15 metres wide following the inside of the main rampart is protected.
