Omschrijving
ZANDSTENEN VAAS (tweede kwart achttiende eeuw, afkomstig uit een kabinet van de aanleg van Speelman), thans opgesteld in de gezichtsas.
Achthoekige ingezwenkte sokkel, versierd met bladwerk; gesloten ronde vaas op gezwenkte achthoekige voet, de kelk door twee hermen verdeeld in twee van voorstellingen in reliëf voorziene vakken. Hiervan stelt het ene met o.a. de figuren van Ceres en Bacchus het "land" en het andere met o.a. de figuren van Zephirus, Aurora en Amor de "zee" voor.

SANDSTONE VASE (second quarter eighteenth century, originating from a cabinet of the layout of Speelman), now installed in the sight line.
Octagonal inward curving pedestal, decorated with foliage; closed round vase on curved octagonal foot, the calyx divided by two herms into two compartments provided with relief depictions. Of these, the one with among others the figures of Ceres and Bacchus represents the "land" and the other with among others the figures of Zephirus, Aurora and Amor the "sea".
