Omschrijving
HOOFDINRIJHEK. Hek (tweede kwart achttiende eeuw) met vier met natuursteen beklede pijlers (waarvan de twee binnenste versierd met blokwerk en verdiepte panelen), bekroond door vazen met deksels (waarvan de twee binnenste ieder voorzien van vier vrouwenkopjes), tussen de pijlers smeedijzeren spijlenhekken met gezwenkte bovenzijden, de twee buitenste vast, het binnenste bestaande uit twee draaibare vleugels. Tegen de buitenzijde van elke buitenpijler een uit- en ingezwenkt dievenhek.
Het hek is geplaatst op een dam in de ringsloot, die bekleed is met bakstenen, door natuurstenen platen afgedekt, uit- en ingezwenkte keermuren, waarop met de buitenpijlers verbonden ijzeren balustraden.

Description
MAIN ENTRANCE GATE. Gate (second quarter eighteenth century) with four piers clad in natural stone (of which the two inner ones decorated with blockwork and recessed panels), crowned by vases with lids (of which the two inner ones each provided with four female heads), between the piers wrought-iron railings with curved upper sections, the two outer ones fixed, the inner one consisting of two revolving wings. Against the outer side of each outer pier a theft gate with outward and inward curves.
The gate is placed on a dam in the moat, which is lined with bricks, covered by natural stone slabs, with outward and inward curving retaining walls, upon which are connected iron balustrades with the outer piers.
Before the gate on the outer side two natural stone stop stones in the form of cannon barrels crowned by palmettes.
