ETAGEWONINGEN. De twee reeksen bakstenen etagewoningen zijn in vergelijkbare trant gebouwd met drie bouwlagen onder platte afdekking, telkens gegroepeerd in blokken van twaalf woningen, die weer per zes zijn onderverdeeld met gezamenlijke ingangsportiek en trappenhuis, onderling door naar het achterterrein leidende poorten verbonden, en voorzien van voor- en achtertuinen.
De woningen zijn steeds aan elkaar gespiegeld, met afwisselend een blinde zijmuur aan de poortzijde, aan de voorzijde bij de hoek en in het midden een teruggerooide gevelpartij ten behoeve van balcons op de verdiepingen, steunend op bakstenen pijlers of muurdammen en met een lichtuitspringende schoorsteenpartij in de hoek met het rechte gevelvlak waarin de centrale ingangspartij en driedelige vensters; aan de achterzijde telkens gedeeltelijk teruggerooid ten behoeve van balcons op de verdiepingen. Bij de ingangsportiek, raamdorpels, balcons en daklijsten is telkens de toegepaste beton in het zicht gelaten.
De voortuinen worden omheind door lage bakstenen pijlers met houten hekken.
De blokken zijn aan de noordzijde per vier gegroepeerd en aan de oostzijde per zes, waarbij telkens een groter dwarsblok (nrs 2-12 en 118-128) met langsgevel - in het midden teruggerooid, met balcons op de verdiepingen - evenwijdig aan de dwarsstraat (Irisstraat en Magnoliastraat) het blok afsluit.

Description
APARTMENT BUILDINGS. The two rows of brick apartment buildings are constructed in comparable fashion with three storeys under flat roof, each time grouped in blocks of twelve dwellings, which are again subdivided by six with shared entrance portico and staircase, interconnected by gates leading to the rear area, and provided with front and rear gardens.
The dwellings are always mirrored to each other, with alternating a blank side wall at the gate side, on the front side at the corner and in the middle a recessed facade section for the benefit of balconies on the storeys, supported on brick piers or wall dams and with a slightly projecting chimney section in the corner with the straight facade surface in which the central entrance section and three-part windows; on the rear side each time partially recessed for the benefit of balconies on the storeys. At the entrance portico, window sills, balconies and eaves the concrete used has each time been left exposed.
The front gardens are enclosed by low brick piers with wooden fences.
