The register's description
Omschrijving
R.K.Kerk van St Willibrord binnen de Veste ("de Vredesduif"), gebouwd 1857 door Th. Molkenboer, een basilicale kruiskerk met in de rooilijn gelegen neoclassicistische zandstenen gevel met barokke inslag (Gesu-type). Orgel met Hoofdwerk, Bovenwerk, Positief en Pedaal, in 1862 door F.C. Smits gemaakt.
Afvoering
Sloopvergunning GEWEIGERD bij beschikking dd 10 mei 1976. Beroep hiertegen ongegrond verklaard bij Kb dd 13 mei 1982 nr12.
Tevens met hetzelfde Kb monument gehandhaafd in het register, na een abusievelijk ten tweede male genomen besluit tot aanwijzing.
Gecontroleerd 09-11-92: NIET GESLOOPT.

Description
R.C. Church of St Willibrord within the Veste ("the Dove of Peace"), built 1857 by Th. Molkenboer, a basilical cruciform church with a neoclassicistic sandstone facade in the building line with baroque influence (Gesu-type). Organ with Great work, Upper work, Positive and Pedal, made in 1862 by F.C. Smits.
Removal from the register
Demolition permit REFUSED by decision dated 10 May 1976. Appeal against this declared unfounded by Royal Decree dated 13 May 1982 nr12.
Monument also maintained in the register with the same Royal Decree, following an erroneously taken decision to designate it a second time.
