Evenals de overige onderdelen van het complex Muntenplaats 1-2 in de jaren 1949/51, na zware oorlogsschade van 1945, door Ir W.P.C. Knuttel, ingrijpend gerestaureerd gebouw, oorspronkelijk het eind 15e-eeuwse, begin 16e-eeuwse achterhuis vormend van het eertijds aan de Brink gelegen, doch in 1861 afgebroken, vermoedelijk 17e-eeuwse huis "De Twaalf Apostelen".
In aanleg eind 15e-, begin 16e-eeuws bakstenen (achter)huis, twee lagen onder zadeldak tussen topgevels; twee topschoorstenen, waarvan die aan de voorzijde uitkragend; vlechtingen; staafankers. De ingang, met Lodewijk XVI-deur, gevat in Renaissance zandstenen poortje met rosetten en sluitsteen in de vorm van masker (afkomstig van het voormalig huis "De Twaalf Apostelen").
Het interieur bevat de originele spiltrap en voorts een aantal uit de verzameling bouwfragmenten van Museum "De Waag" herplaatste elementen, waaronder:
- een zandstenen Renaissance dubbelpoortje, afkomstig uit het in 1901 gesloopte huis "Het Lam" (Kleine Poot 18).
- 11 eiken consoles met gesnede kopjes (midden XVI), afkomstig uit het huis "De Wezel" (Assenstraat 10)
- een oeuil-de-boeuf met engelenkopje.
Terzijde van de ingang nog een zandstenen Renaissance poortje met Ionische kapitelen.
In aanleg eind 15e-, begin 16e-eeuws, voormalig achterhuis van het eertijds aan de Brink gelegen huis "De Twaalf Apostelen", van belang wegens de herinnering aan dit vroegere huis, de herplaatste bouwfragmenten en wegens de eenheid die het vormt met de (reeds beschermde) gebouwen Muntenplaats 1 en 2.

Description
Like the other components of the Muntenplaats 1-2 complex, in the years 1949/51, after severe war damage in 1945, extensively restored by Ir W.P.C. Knuttel, building originally forming the late 15th-century, early 16th-century rear house of the formerly at the Brink situated, but demolished in 1861, presumably 17th-century house "De Twaalf Apostelen".
In origin late 15th-, early 16th-century brick (rear) house, two storeys under a gabled roof between gable tops; two gable chimneys, of which that at the front is corbelled; timber-framed infill; wall anchors. The entrance, with a Louis XVI door, set in a Renaissance sandstone doorway with rosettes and keystone in the form of a mask (originating from the former house "De Twaalf Apostelen").
The interior contains the original spiral staircase and furthermore a number of elements relocated from the collection of building fragments of Museum "De Waag", including:
- a Renaissance sandstone double doorway, originating from the house "Het Lam" demolished in 1901 (Kleine Poot 18).
- 11 oak consoles with carved heads (mid-16th century), originating from the house "De Wezel" (Assenstraat 10)
- an oeil-de-boeuf with cherub head.
Beside the entrance another Renaissance sandstone doorway with Ionic capitals.
