Omschrijving.
Blok van vier rug-aan-rug gebouwde woningen op vierkante plattegrond, bestaande uit begane grond en verdieping onder een plat dak. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit baksteen met gepleisterde hoeken en bezitten een zwarte plint. De zijgevels, waarvan alleen de rechter gepleisterd zijn, worden geleed door deels in lichtgele baksteen opgetrokken schoorstenen. Tegen deze gevels bevinden zich aanbouwen waarin de ingang, de keuken en het toilet zijn ondergebracht, die in hun huidige vorm uit 1914 dateren. De vensters bezitten ramen met roedeverdeling, deels als schuifvenster en deels met openslaande ramen uitgevoerd. Deuren en vensters op de begane grond zijn bekroond door strekken in een lichtgele baksteen. De gootlijst rust op houten consoles en is voorzien van een sierlaag van rode verblendsteen.

Block of four back-to-back built dwellings on square floor plan, consisting of ground floor and storey under a flat roof. The facades are built up of brick with plastered corners and have a black plinth. The side facades, of which only the right is plastered, are articulated by chimneys partly built up in light yellow brick. Against these facades are extensions in which the entrance, the kitchen and the toilet are housed, which in their present form date from 1914. The windows have frames with glazing bars, partly executed as sash windows and partly with opening windows. Doors and windows on the ground floor are crowned by stretches in a light yellow brick. The gutter list rests on wooden consoles and is provided with a decorative layer of red facing brick.
Valuation.
Dwelling houses of social-historical and urban planning importance as an early and well-preserved example of social housing in The Hague and as a functional component of the complex of workers' dwellings on Van Hogendorpstraat.
