Inleiding.
Gietijzeren brug uit 1866 ontworpen door de stadsarchitect W.C. van der Waeyen Pieterszen. Het wegdek is vernieuwd; de brugleuningen zijn authentiek. Omschrijving.
Rechte brug over de singelgracht vervaardigd door de "IJzergieterij De Prins van Oranje te 's Hage 1866 " blijkens het opschrift aan de onderzijde van een der balustrades. De brug heeft twee opengewerkte borstweringen van gietijzer met elk zeven vierkante panelen met leliemotieven tussen twee veelhoekige hoekpijlers op de gemetselde landhoofden; de draagconstructie bestaat uit ijzeren balken. Straight bridge over the moat canal constructed by the "Iron Foundry The Prince of Orange at 's Hage 1866" according to the inscription on the underside of one of the balustrades. The bridge has two open-worked parapets of cast iron each with seven square panels with lily motifs between two polygonal corner piers on the mortared abutments; the supporting structure consists of iron beams.
