Inleiding.
Woonwinkelpand in op de Noordduitse baksteengotiek geinspireerde neogotische stijl, gebouwd in 1889 naar ontwerp van de architect J.H.A. Mialaret. De voorgevel is opgenomen in de straatwand met aaneengesloten bebouwing. Omschrijving.
Het pand op rechthoekige plattegrond is zeven vensterassen breed en omvat drie bouwlagen onder een met pannen gedekt zadeldak. De gevels zijn bekleed met verblendsteen en geglazuurde baksteen. De beide vensterassen op de rechterhoek worden bekroond door een rijk gedetailleerde trapgevel met in baksteen uitgevoerde nissen met traceringen, kolonnetten en fioelen. Ook de linker zijgevel draagt een trapgevel met nissen en ezelsrugafdekkingen, waartegen het zadeldak aansluit. De voorgevel bezit friezen met terracotta decoraties tussen de verdiepingen, in korfboognissen geplaatste vensters met terracottaversiering in de boogtrommels, een gemetseld boogfries en een zaagtandfries onder de gootlijst en een gedecoreerd fries met zes maskerkopjes onder de trapgevel. De parterre bevat de ingangen en drie in segmentboogomlijstingen gevatte etalageruiten.
