Omschrijving
Uit 1876 daterende dubbele ijzeren draaibrug.
Twee door de Gieterij de Prins van Oranje te 's-Gravenhage vervaardigde geklonken stalen delen, die bij het openen van de brug ten behoeve van het varend verkeer wegdraaien in de ter plaatse verlaagde kademuren.
Op de draaiende delen een houten verkeersdek. Smeedijzeren reling op het brugdek bestaande uit sobere stijlen en regels (model tuinhek) en op de kademuren slanke balusters, verbonden door horizontale staven, met bollen aan de bovenzijde.
De uit 1876 daterende dubbele ijzeren draaibrug met toebehoren is mede vanwege de situering van cultuur- en architectuurhistorische en industrieelarcheologische waarde op Rijksniveau.

Description
Double iron swing bridge dating from 1876.
Two riveted steel parts manufactured by the Gieterij de Prins van Oranje at 's-Gravenhage, which when the bridge opens for shipping traffic rotate away in the locally lowered quay walls.
On the rotating parts a wooden traffic deck. Wrought-iron railing on the bridge deck consisting of sober uprights and rails (model garden fence) and on the quay walls slender balusters, connected by horizontal rods, with spheres at the top.
The double iron swing bridge dating from 1876 with accessories is also of culture- and architectural-historical and industrial-archaeological value at national level owing to its siting.
