BEELD OP SOKKEL BIJ MOESTUIN. Kunststenen manshoog tuinbeeld op rechthoekige sokkel opgesteld ten zuiden van de moestuin. Het beeld, dat uit de 19e eeuw dateert, stelt wellicht een godin uit de Klassieke Oudheid voor, gehuld in een loshangend geplooid gewaad, met in de rechter hand een staf, waarvan het bovenstuk ontbreekt. Haar linker arm, waarvan de hand ontbreekt, is geheven in de richting van de staf. Het beeld, dat een pendant vormt van het beeld op sokkel bij de Keutelbeek, bevindt zich gedeeltelijk in ruineuze staat, die veroorzaakt wordt door het ijzeren skelet, dat roestverschijnselen vertoont.

Description
STATUE ON PEDESTAL AT VEGETABLE GARDEN. Artificial stone life-size garden statue on a rectangular pedestal set up south of the vegetable garden. The statue, which dates from the 19th century, possibly represents a goddess from Classical Antiquity, clothed in a loosely hanging pleated robe, with a staff in her right hand, of which the upper part is missing. Her left arm, of which the hand is missing, is raised in the direction of the staff. The statue, which forms a pendant to the statue on pedestal at the Keutelbeek, is partly in a ruinous state, caused by the iron skeleton, which shows signs of rust.
