Omschrijving
POMPHUISJE MET WATERPOMP. Stenen rechthoekig pomphuisje ten zuidoosten van de grote vijver in landschapsstijl aan de Keutelbeek, dat omstreeks 1925 deels werd vernieuwd voor de installatie van een nieuwe ijzeren mechanische waterpomp, een zogenaamde Belier Hydraulique Bollee. Wellicht betreft het een zelfde soort pomp als de hydraulische pomp, die in 1908 door de firma Andre Leboeuf te Le Mans (Frankrijk) op Kasteel Eijsden werd geleverd.
De geheel bewaard gebleven pomp, die door via de forellenbakken verlopend bronwater (bronnen in Kelmonderbos en op Gebroek) werd gevoed, pompte het water in een ruim rechthoekig waterbekken, dat zich ongeveer ter hoogte van de pomp aan de bovenzijde van het hellingbos bevindt. Het waterbekken voorzag tot in 1967 het huis en de fontein in de grote vijver in landschapsstijl via een eveneens bewaard gebleven ondergronds buizensysteem van water.

Description
PUMP HOUSE WITH WATER PUMP. Stone rectangular pump house southeast of the large ornamental lake at the Keutelbeek, which was partly renewed around 1925 for the installation of a new iron mechanical water pump, a so-called Belier Hydraulique Bollee. It is possibly the same type of pump as the hydraulic pump which in 1908 was supplied by the firm Andre Leboeuf of Le Mans (France) to Kasteel Eijsden.
The entirely preserved pump, which was fed by spring water running through the trout ponds (springs in Kelmonderbos and at Gebroek), pumped the water into a spacious rectangular water basin, which is located approximately at the height of the pump at the top of the wooded slope. Until 1967 the water basin supplied the house and the fountain in the large ornamental lake via an equally preserved underground pipe system.
