Omschrijving.
Parkflat aan de westzijde van het complex. Dit bouwdeel op rechthoekige plattegrond, heeft drie bouwlagen en zolderverdieping onder met oranje pannen gedekte steekkappen en geknikte schilddaken. De gekoppelde erkerpartijen in de gevelwand worden door balkons afgewisseld. Deze wijken per etage iets terug en versmallen zich. De betonnen lateien zorgen evenals de dorpels onder en boven de stalen vensters met verdeelde bovenlichten voor een horizontale geleding. De in rode baksteen opgetrokken gevels hebben een metselverband waarbij het 'board and batten' motief op de tweede verdieping is toegepast. Bovendien zijn delen horizontaal metselwerk in zwart gekleurde baksteen uitgevoerd. De houten betimmering aan de onderkant van de dakgoot is versneden. Aan de gevelwand die aan de binnenhof grenst komen een viertal entreehalletjes uit waarachter de trappehuizen liggen. Deze hebben de vorm van pagodes.

Westelijk deel van de parkflat Marlot van cultuurhistorisch belang wegens de innovatieve waarde en ontwikkeling van de parkflat als nieuw type woonhuis. Architectuurhistorisch van belang als duidelijk herkenbaar en gaaf voorbeeld van de Nieuwe Haagse School.

Parkflat on the west side of the complex. This building section on rectangular plan has three storeys and attic storey under mansard roofs and bent hipped roofs tiled with orange tiles. The coupled oriel bays in the facade are alternated by balconies. These recede slightly per storey and narrow. The concrete lintels as well as the sills below and above the steel windows with divided fanlights provide horizontal articulation. The facades constructed of red brick have a brick bond in which the 'board and batten' motif is applied on the second storey. Moreover parts of the horizontal brickwork are executed in black-coloured brick. The wooden trim at the underside of the roof gutter is carved. At the facade wall which borders the inner courtyard four entrance foyers open out behind which the staircases lie. These have the form of pagodas.
Valuation.
Western part of the parkflat Marlot of cultural-historical importance by reason of the innovative value and development of the parkflat as a new type of dwelling. Architecturally important as a clearly recognizable and intact example of the Nieuwe Haagse School.
