HISTORISCHE TUIN- EN PARKAANLEG. Van de 18e-eeuwse formele parkaanleg op Rhijngeest zijn nog enkele sporen bewaard gebleven. Aan de zuidzijde van het complex van het koetshuis annex koetsierswoning en paardestal de rechthoekige voormalige moestuin met moestuinmuur en tussen deze muur en het genoemde complex staan naast elkaar enkele geknotte linden, die uit deze tijd dateren evenals enkele linden aan de voor(oost-)zijde van het huis; deze linden werden omstreeks 1840, toen op Rhijngeest een park in landschapsstijl werd aangelegd, gespaard en vervullen in de compositie van de aanleg als solitairen een rol.
De aanleg in landschapsstijl op Rhijngeest bestaat aan de voorzijde van het huis uit een open ruimte met enkele solitairen (beuk, eik, plataan, linde), doorsneden door een oprit met slingerend verloop, die aan weerszijden wordt geflankeerd door bospartijen met beuk en eik en met heesters (hulst, taxus, rhododendrons). In de zuidelijke bospartij een kleine vijver in landschapsstijl. Aan de westzijde van het huis bevindt zich een grote vijver in landschapsstijl met vijverarmen met slingerend verloop, die een bospartij (eik, beuk, rhododendrons) met slingerpaden omsluiten.
Welke tuinarchitect het park in landschapsstijl op Rhijngeest heeft aangelegd is onbekend.
Omstreeks 1925 werd aan de Rhijngeesterstraatweg in het park een zeszijdig houten prieel geplaatst, dat in visueel opzicht een markant tuinsieraad aan de zuidoosthoek van de historische aanleg vormt.

Description
HISTORIC GARDEN AND PARK LAYOUT. Of the 18th-century formal park layout at Rhijngeest some traces remain. On the south side of the complex of the coach house combined with coachman's dwelling and stable the rectangular former vegetable garden with vegetable garden wall and between this wall and the said complex stand several pollarded limes side by side, which date from this period as do several limes on the front (east) side of the house; these limes were spared around 1840, when a landscape-style park was laid out at Rhijngeest, and fulfil a role as specimens in the composition of the layout.
The landscape-style layout at Rhijngeest consists on the front side of the house of an open space with several specimens (beech, oak, plane, lime), crossed by a drive with winding course, which is flanked on either side by wooded areas with beech and oak and with shrubs (holly, yew, rhododendrons). In the southern wooded area a small pond in landscape style. On the west side of the house there is a large pond in landscape style with winding pond arms, which enclose a wooded area (oak, beech, rhododendrons) with winding paths.
Which landscape architect designed the landscape-style park at Rhijngeest is unknown.
Around 1925 a six-sided wooden pavilion was placed in the park on the Rhijngeesterstraatweg, which from a visual perspective forms a striking garden ornament at the south-east corner of the historic layout.
