Pand van drie bouwlagen, met zadeldak loodrecht op de straat.
Op de Monumentenlijst staan reeds vermeld de panden Wittevrouwenstraat 26, 28, 30 en 32, met als omschrijving: "Pand met klokgevel, serie van vier, vrijwel onversierd, XVIII".
In feite werd in 1709 op het erf van de voormalige Wittevrouwenabdij een rij van zeven woningen gebouwd met klokgevels van twee traveeën breed, drie bouwlagen en zadeldaken loodrecht op de straat. de panden hebben enkelvoudige balklagen evenwijdig aan de straat.
Aangezien het meest westelijke pand verloren is gegaan is er nu sprake van een serie van zes panden, die gezamenlijk bescherming behoeven.
Wittevrouwenstraat 36, tegenwoordig met een kroonlijst afgedekt, is een van deze panden en bovendien het enige resterende hoekpand. Aan de zijde van de zogenaamde kloosterstraat is de zijgevel gaaf bewaard.

Description
Building of three storeys, with gabled roof perpendicular to the street.
Already listed on the Monument List are the buildings Wittevrouwenstraat 26, 28, 30 and 32, with the description: "Building with bell gable, series of four, virtually undecorated, 18th century".
In fact, in 1709 a row of seven dwellings was built on the grounds of the former Wittevrouwenabdij with bell gables two bays wide, three storeys and gabled roofs perpendicular to the street. The buildings have simple floor joists parallel to the street.
Since the westernmost building has been lost, there is now talk of a series of six buildings, which collectively require protection.
Wittevrouwenstraat 36, nowadays topped with a cornice, is one of these buildings and moreover the only remaining corner building. On the side of the so-called kloosterstraat the side facade is preserved intact.
The building is of architectural value and of importance as part of an early 18th century residential housing complex.
