Pand van twee bouwlagen met zadeldak evenwijdig aan de straat.
Het pand maakt deel uit van de randbebouwing van de voormalige immuniteit van het Kapittel van de Dom. Hoewel gedeeltelijk van middeleeuwse oorsprong, dateert de huidige opzet van het voorhuis in hoofdzaak uit de 17e eeuw. Het bestaat uit twee delen met een stenen scheidingsmuur. Links van oorsprong de voordeur, hal, trap en voorkamer, rechts een grote woonkamer boven een royale kelderkeuken. In de 18e eeuw is het gesplitst en verbouwd tot twee zelfstandige woningen, in de 19e eeuw weer samengevoegd en uitgebreid met een travee van het buurpand Pausdam 3 dat in de middeleeuwen ook reeds bij Pausdam 2 had gehoord. In 1911 en 1917 werd het huis verbouwd, daarbij werd de voorgevel gewijzigd en de achterbouw vernieuwd.
Het zadeldak heeft rechts een tuitgevel, links sluit het aan bij het dak van het buurpand. Het pand heeft twee vermoedelijk 17e eeuwse schoorstenen, een links en een aansluitend bij de knik die de voorgevel maakt door de gebogen rooilijn.
De lijstgevel is vijf traveeën breed op de verdieping en is gesierd met speklagen en natuursteenblokken naast de strekken. Het vak links, met deur, is breder dan de andere. De beganegrond heeft etalages, waarboven een lijst.
Het pand is van architectonisch belang en tevens van historische waarde.

Description
A building of two storeys with gabled roof parallel to the street.
The building forms part of the perimeter buildings of the former immunity of the Chapter of the Dom. Although partially of medieval origin, the present structure of the front house dates mainly from the 17th century. It consists of two parts with a stone partition wall. On the left originally the front door, hall, staircase and front room, on the right a large living room above a spacious cellar kitchen. In the 18th century it was divided and converted into two separate dwellings, in the 19th century merged again and extended with a bay from the neighbouring building Pausdam 3 which in the Middle Ages had also belonged to Pausdam 2. In 1911 and 1917 the house was rebuilt, during which the front facade was altered and the rear extension renewed.
The gabled roof has a spout gable on the right, on the left it adjoins the roof of the neighbouring building. The building has two presumably 17th century chimneys, one on the left and one adjoining the break which the front facade makes due to the curved building line.
The cornice-topped facade is five bays wide on the upper floor and is decorated with limestone courses and squared stone blocks alongside the stretches. The bay on the left, with door, is wider than the others. The ground floor has shop windows, above which is a moulding.
The building is of architectural importance and also of historical value.
