Omschrijving
Middeleeuws voorhuis met drie bouwlagen, een kap loodrecht op de straat en een kelder. Het op enige afstand van het voorhuis gelegen achterhuis bestaat uit twee bouwlagen, een kap loodrecht op die van het voorhuis en een, dichtgeworpen, kelder.
Hoewel het huis een overwegend 19e eeuwse indruk maakt door zijn gevel met eind 19e eeuwse onderpui, betreft het hier een fors middeleeuws pand. Dit komt tot uiting in een zeldzaam keldertype, bestaande uit gordelbogen waartussen troggewelven. In die kelder bevindt zich een 17e eeuwse schouw. Verder zijn de balklagen voor een belangrijk deel de oorspronkelijke.
Op de tweede verdieping bevindt zich in de westmuur een gekoppeld paar kaarsnissen en een dichtgezette boog. De kap is in deze eeuw ingrijpend vernieuwd.
De gepleisterde achtergevel is mogelijk nog de middeleeuwse tuitgevel. Op het dak is aan de oostzijde nog de middeleeuwse schoorsteen aanwezig.
Het dwarsgelegen achterhuis met zadeldak tussen twee topgevels bezit nog 18e eeuwse bouwdelen.
Van groot bouwhistorisch belang zijn met name het middeleeuwse casco en de zeldzame kelder.

Description
A medieval front house with three storeys, a roof perpendicular to the street and a cellar. The rear house, situated at some distance from the front house, consists of two storeys, a roof perpendicular to that of the front house and a blocked-up cellar.
Although the house makes a predominantly 19th century impression through its facade with late 19th century shopfront, this is a substantial medieval building. This is evident in a rare cellar type, consisting of girdle arches with barrel vaults between them. In that cellar is a 17th century chimney-piece. Moreover, the beam layers are for the most part original.
On the second floor in the west wall is a coupled pair of candle-niches and a blocked-up arch. The roof was extensively renewed in this century.
The plastered rear facade is possibly still the medieval spout gable. On the roof on the east side the medieval chimney is still present.
The transverse rear house with gabled roof between two top gables still possesses 18th century building elements.
Of great building-historical importance are in particular the medieval structural frame and the rare cellar.
