Een 18e eeuws huis van twee bouwlagen, een kap met de nok loodrecht op de straat en een kelder.
Hoewel het huis van oorsprong ouder is, heeft het grotendeels een 18e en vroeg 19e eeuws karakter. De kelder bestaat uit twee naast elkaar gelegen tongewelven en loopt ongeveer drie meter onder het trottoir door, hetgeen buiten de Oudegracht ongebruikelijk is. De kelder behoort oorspronkelijk tot een voorganger of voorgangers van het huidige huis. De enkelvoudige grenen balklagen en grenen sporenkap behoren tot de 18e eeuwse opzet. Tegen de achtergevel, een lijstgevel, is in de vroege 19e eeuw een achterhuis met een lessenaarsdak aangebouwd.
Op de eerste verdieping en de zolder bevinden zich zeer fraaie vroeg 19e eeuwse betimmeringen, waaronder twee houten schouwen met stucwerk boezems, een bedstee en op zolder consoles onder een balk.

Description
An 18th century house of two storeys, a roof with the ridge perpendicular to the street and a cellar.
Although the house is of older origin, it largely has an 18th and early 19th century character. The cellar consists of two barrel vaults side by side and runs approximately three metres beneath the pavement, which is unusual outside the Oudegracht. The cellar originally belongs to a predecessor or predecessors of the present house. The simple pine beam layers and pine rafter roof belong to the 18th century construction. Against the rear facade, a cornice-topped facade, a rear building with a lean-to roof was added in the early 19th century.
On the first floor and in the attic are very fine early 19th century timber fittings, including two wooden chimney-pieces with stucco work, a bed-alcove and on the attic brackets under a beam.
This building is of building-historical and architectural value, particularly because of the old cellar, partly lying beneath the street, the 18th century structural frame and the early 19th century timber fittings. Moreover, the Art Deco shopfront in the front facade is striking.
