Een zeer ondiep 17e eeuws huis van twee bouwlagen, een kap evenwijdig aan de rooilijn van het Domplein en met een kleine kelder.
Oorspronkelijk was de gehele noordzijde van het Domplein bebouwd met grote claustrale huizen op ruime erven. Slechts Domplein 10, 11 en 12 zijn goede voorbeelden van deze bebouwing, mede dankzij het pleintje voor nummer 11 en 12 dat oorspronkelijk het claustrale voorerf was. Ook de in 1512 voor het eerst genoemde steeg achter Domplein 12 behoort tot de oorspronkelijke structuur. Zij diende als uitgang van het kapittelterrein om in de burgerlijke nederzetting te komen.
Domplein 10 is vooral een 17e eeuws huis geworden door de vernielingen die in 1674 werden veroorzaakt door de storm die ook het schip van de Domkerk vernielde. De kap met grenen schaargebinten, waarin gestoken telmerken aanwezig zijn, is hiervan een duidelijk gevolg. Ook de rest van het casco dateert voor het grootste deel uit de 17e eeuw. De slechts onder een travee gelegen kelder met tongewelf is in 1954 volgestort. De opvallend geringe diepte van het perceel is veroorzaakt door een verlegging van de rooilijn naar het noorden in de 16e eeuw.

Description
A very shallow 17th-century house of two storeys, a roof parallel to the building line of the Domplein and with a small cellar.
Originally the entire north side of the Domplein was built with large claustral houses on spacious plots. Only Domplein 10, 11 and 12 are good examples of this development, also thanks to the small square in front of numbers 11 and 12 that was originally the claustral forecourt. The lane behind Domplein 12, first mentioned in 1512, also belongs to the original structure. It served as an exit from the chapter grounds into the civilian settlement.
Domplein 10 became especially a 17th-century house due to the damage caused in 1674 by the storm that also destroyed the nave of the Domkerk. The roof with pine tie-beams, which contain carpenters' marks, is a clear result of this. The rest of the fabric also dates for the most part from the 17th century. The cellar, located only under one bay, with a barrel vault, was filled in in 1954. The remarkably small depth of the plot was caused by a shift of the building line to the north in the 16th century.
