Uit 1886 daterende, rond gemetselde, omstreeks tien meter hoge molenromp met uitkraging en bovenaan taps toelopend, restant van de in 1948 door brand getroffen stellingmolen met een enkele en een stel dubbele rondboogvormige deuren - waarboven een hardstenen plaquette - en voorts ijzeren rondboogvensters van verschillende grootte, en twee rondboogluiken, alsmede een plaquette met het opschrift:"men heeft in plaats van houtmij nu van steen herbouwden hoger vlucht gegevennu zoek ik mijn bestaanin 't malen van het graanzo nodig voor het leven."Molenromp van belang als restant van de Asperense korenmolen aan de rand van de vroegere vesting in een bocht van de Linge.

Description
Dating from 1886, a round-built, approximately ten metre high mill tower with corbelling and tapering towards the top, remnant of the post mill struck by fire in 1948 with a single and a set of double round-arch-shaped doors - above which a hardstone plaque - and furthermore iron round-arch windows of various sizes, and two round-arch shutters, as well as a plaque with the inscription: "instead of wood they have now rebuilt me in stone given higher flight now I seek my livelihood in the milling of grain so necessary for life." Mill tower of importance as a remnant of the Asperense grain mill on the edge of the former fortification in a bend of the Linge.
