Omschrijving
Complex bestaande uit: a) een voormalig pakhuis (?) (18e eeuw ?, modern plat dak) gelegen aan een van de Prinsengracht komend toegangsstraatje. b) een ondiep poortgebouw aan het einde van dat straatje (1e helft 19e eeuw? Geheel verbouwd en verhoogd 1919 en later). Eenvoudige rondbogige poortdoorgang. Gepleisterde achtergevel met twee omlijste vensters. c) Aan de binnenplaats (van Keizersgracht 644/464) in het verlengde van het sub a) genoemde pakhuis een vroeger dienstgebouw van Keizersgracht 646, thans conciergewoning en stokerij van de Openbare Leeszaal (18e eeuw ?) 1919 en later geheel verbouwd en van een plat dak voorzien.

Complex consisting of: a) a former warehouse (?) (18th century ?, modern flat roof) situated on a small street coming from the Prinsengracht. b) a shallow gateway building at the end of that street (first half of 19th century? Completely rebuilt and raised 1919 and later). Simple round-arched gateway passage. Plastered rear facade with two framed windows. c) On the courtyard (of Keizersgracht 644/464) in line with the warehouse mentioned under a) a former service building of Keizersgracht 646, now caretaker's dwelling and stokehold of the Public Reading Room (18th century ?) completely rebuilt in 1919 and later and provided with a flat roof.
