Omschrijving
Nieuwe Suykerhofje. Inpandig gelegen voormalig hofje, samengesteld uit etagewoningen in drie verdiepingen en een kapel, als volgt gegroepeerd: a) Links van het toegangsstraatje een gebouw onder zadeldak parallel aan dit straatje. b) rechts van het straatje een gebouw onder zadeldak dwars op het straatje. c) aan een dwarsarm van het straatje een gebouw onder drie zadeldaken in de richting als sub a). Puntgevels aan voor- en achterzijde, deze laatste aan de achterliggende binnenplaats. Al deze woningen achttiende-eeuws met draairamen waarin een kleine roedenverdeling. d) Aan de overzijde van de binnenplaats de dwars geplaatste kapel (1755) met drie rondboogvensters, het middelste met hardstenen omlijsting en een dakkapel daarboven. Interieur met stucversiering, altaarretabel en opmerkelijk namaak-orgel in stuc.

Description
Nieuwe Suykerhofje. Internally located former courtyard dwelling, composed of multi-storey apartments in three storeys and a chapel, grouped as follows: a) To the left of the access street a building under gabled roof parallel to this street. b) To the right of the street a building under gabled roof perpendicular to the street. c) On a cross-arm of the street a building under three gabled roofs in the direction as sub a). Pointed gables at front and rear, the latter at the rear inner courtyard. All these dwellings 18th-century with sash windows containing small glazing bars. d) On the far side of the inner courtyard the transversely placed chapel (1755) with three round-arched windows, the central one with hardstone surround and a roof dormer above. Interior with stucco decoration, altarpiece and remarkable stucco imitation organ.
