COURTINE IV-I MET LANDPOORT EN MUURRESTEN. Coutine met: - Nabij het midden van de wal, de voormalige Oostpoort, een coupure tussen twee keermuren met schotbalksponningen. - Voor de poort, een dam door de gracht. - Aan de stadszijde van de Oostpoort, resten van de middeleeuwse ommuring, te weten een ca. 5 m. hoge muur ter lengte van ca. 20 m. achter perceel Bas Backerlaan 14 e.v.. Betrokken kadastrale percelen, Elburg nrs.: - C1330 ged. (hiervan slechts het deel tussen de percelen 561-562, 543-539 en Zuidwal-Oostwal); - C1599 ged. en C1588 ged. (van deze percelen slechts een strook ter breedte van ca. 1,50 m., gerekend van de oostgrens der percelen); - C1668 ged. (hiervan slechts een strook ter breedte van 5 m., gerekend van de grens met percelen C1212 en C534); - C1632 ged. en C1684 ged. CURTAIN WALL IV-I WITH LAND GATE AND WALL REMAINS. Curtain wall with: - Near the middle of the wall, the former East Gate, a coupure between two retaining walls with sill beam sockets. - In front of the gate, a dam across the moat. - On the town side of the East Gate, remains of the medieval fortification, namely an approximately 5 m. high wall with a length of approximately 20 m. behind Bas Backerlaan 14 et seq.
