Omschrijving
Waalse Kerk. Oudtijds kapel van het plm 1390 gestichte Begijnenconvent van St. Geertruid. Eenbeukig kapelletje uit omstreeks 1500, met veelhoekige sluiting en stenen overwelving. Traptorentje naast de voorgevel. Oorspronkelijk eenklaviers orgel, in 1820 gemaakt voor een R.K. Kerk te Groningen door J.W. Timpe. In 1840 overgeplaatst naar Zwolle en in 1891 voorzien van een Bovenwerk door J. Proper. Bij de restauratie in 1987 is dit Bovenwerk gehandhaafd.

Description
Walloon Church. Formerly chapel of the Béguinage of St. Geertruid founded about 1390. Single-aisle small chapel from about 1500, with polygonal closure and stone vaulting. Small spiral staircase turret beside the front gable. Originally single-keyboard organ, made in 1820 for a Roman Catholic Church in Groningen by J.W. Timpe. In 1840 transferred to Zwolle and in 1891 provided with an Upper Work by J. Proper. During the restoration in 1987 this Upper Work was retained.
