Sassenpoort. Vermoedelijk dagtekenend uit 1409. Aan de landzijde twee hoektorens, die van rond in achtzijdig overgaan; ertussen in een mezekooi met werpgaten. Aan de stadszijde veelhoekige hangtorentjes. De kantelen en het middentorentje dateren van de restauratie van 1893-'98. Thans Rijksarchief. Klokkenstoel met gelui van twee klokken, waarvan één van J.A. de Grave en N. Muller, 1731, diameter 90 centimeter. en één van N. Muller, 1732, diameter 45 centimeter. Mechanisch torenuurwerk B.
