Inleiding
WINKEL met BOVENWONING met een lijstgevel uit het begin van de negentiende eeuw en winkelpui uit de tweede helft 19e eeuw.
Het pand staat in een gesloten gevelwand, waarin verschillende winkels mee bovenwoningen. In het beschermd stadsgezicht van Zwolle binnen de stadsgracht. De kapvorm is eind jaren dertig gewijzigd in een afgeknot dak.
Sinds 1877 is in het pand een winkel gevestigd; daarvoor was het een timmerwerkplaats. Het huidige interieur is van omstreeks 1920. De plafondschilderingen zijn in 1890-'91 gerealiseerd.
Omschrijving
Boven de winkelpui zijn twee verdiepingen opgetrokken in bruine baksteen. afgesloten door een kroonlijst onder een afgeknotte kap met zwarte Hollandse pannen. De winkelpui op de begane grond wordt beëindigd met een houten kroonlijst. gedragen door twee hoekpilasters op hardstenen voet met diamantkop. De pui bestaat boven een (geschilderd) hardstenen trasraam uit twee rechtgesloten etalageruiten ter weerszijden van een (nieuwe) glasdeur. Deze worden van elkaar gescheiden door houten profiellijsten op een hardstenen voet. Links daarvan bevindt zich een paneeldeur onder bovenlicht. Op de eerste verdieping drie H-vensters onder strek; op de bovenste verdieping drie vierkante vierruitsvensters.
Het winkelinterieur is grotendeels in oorspronkelijke staat met betimmering en vaste kasten; plafondschildering met florale motieven.
Waardering
De winkel en bovenwoning zijn van algemeen architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege: de negentiende eeuwse lijstgevel de negentiende eeuwse winkelpui en de combinatie van heide de gaafheid van de voorgevel, pui en delen van het winkelinterieur.

SHOP with UPPER STOREY with a cornice-topped facade from the beginning of the nineteenth century and shopfront from the second half of the 19th century.
The building stands in a closed facade line, in which various shops together with upper storeys. In the protected townscape of Zwolle within the town moat. The roof form was changed to a truncated roof at the end of the nineteen thirties.
Since 1877 a shop has been established in the building; before that it was a carpentry workshop. The current interior is from around 1920. The ceiling paintings were realized in 1890-'91.
Description
Above the shopfront two storeys are erected in brown brickwork, terminated by a cornice under a truncated roof with black Dutch tiles. The shopfront on the ground floor is terminated with a wooden cornice, supported by two corner pilasters on a hardstone base with diamond head. The facade consists above a (painted) hardstone travertine frame of two straight window panes on either side of a (new) glass door. These are separated from each other by wooden profile mouldings on a hardstone base. To the left of this is a panel door under a fanlight. On the first floor three H-windows under a stretch; on the upper floor three square four-pane windows.
The shop interior is largely in original condition with timber cladding and fixed cupboards; ceiling painting with floral motifs.
Valuation
The shop and upper storey are of general architectural-historical importance because of: the nineteenth-century cornice-topped facade the nineteenth-century shopfront and the combination of both the integrity of the front facade, facade and parts of the shop interior.
