Omschrijving
DOLEANTIE-KERK, opgetrokken in 1888 in eclectische trant; architecten: J.W. en C.W.Meijer. Zes traveeën tellend bakstenen gebouw onder pannen gedekt zadeldak. Het exterieur is uitgerust met rondboogvensters, liggende en klimmende rondboogfriezen en twee ingangspartijen bekroond door geprofileerde ezelsrug; de hoofdingang wordt benadrukt door een torenpartij in renaissancistische vormen; bekroning door ingesnoerd naaldspits. Inwendig wordt het gebouw in drie beuken verdeeld door een op gietijzeren zuiltjes rustende drievierde omlopende galerij, waarop ook het in 1890 door de Firma Proper te Kampen gebouwde orgel een plaats vindt. Het middenschip wordt gedekt door een tongewelf; de zijschepen door vlakke zolderingen. Houten preekstoel in neo-renaissance-stijl, lampen, luchters en overig meubilair dateren uit de bouwtijd.

Description
DOLEANTIE CHURCH, built in 1888 in eclectic style; architects: J.W. and C.W.Meijer. Brick building with six bays, covered with a gabled roof tiled with tiles. The exterior is equipped with round-arch windows, horizontal and climbing round-arch friezes and two entrance sections crowned by profiled saddle-backs; the main entrance is emphasised by a tower section in Renaissance forms; topped by an compressed spire. Internally the building is divided into three aisles by a three-quarter aisle gallery resting on cast-iron columns, on which also the organ built in 1890 by the Firma Proper in Kampen finds its place. The central nave is covered by a barrel vault; the side aisles by flat ceilings. Wooden pulpit in neo-renaissance style, lamps, chandeliers and other furnishings date from the construction period.
