Ned. Herv. Kerk. Laat-gotische kruiskerk, driebeukig pseudo-basilicaal schip en diep koor van drie traveeën met vijfzijdige sluiting. De geheel met houten tongewelven op trekbalken overwelfde kerk heeft een koor uit XVd, een dwarsschip uit XVI A (?) en een schip, dat na gelijktijdig met de bouw van het dwarsschip vernieuwd te zijn, herbouwd werd omstreeks 1615 na verwoesting door de Staatse troepen in 1574. Tussen schip en zijbeuken zuilen met Attische bases en kapitelen met Toskaanse profileringen. Bij de herbouw van het koor werd dit verhoogd en voorzien van een rond en twee ovale vensters in de sluitingszijden boven de vensters. Inventaris: gesneden eiken preekstoel, midden XVII, twee tekstborden 1693, koperen kroon (XVII ?) en een aantal zerken (XVII-XVIII). De kerk is gerestaureerd omstreeks 1954. Orgel met twee manualen en aangehangen pedaal gebouwd door L. van Dam en Zonen in 1869. Dit orgel is afkomstig uit de Hervomde kerk te Irnsum.

Description
Dutch Reformed Church. Late Gothic cruciform church, three-aisle pseudo-basilical nave and deep choir of three bays with pentagonal closure. The church entirely vaulted with wooden barrel vaults on tie beams has a choir from the 15th century, a transept from the first half of the 16th century (?) and a nave, which after being simultaneously renewed with the construction of the transept, was rebuilt around 1615 after destruction by the State troops in 1574. Between nave and side aisles pillars with Attic bases and capitals with Tuscan mouldings. In the rebuilding of the choir it was raised and furnished with one round and two oval windows in the closure sides above the windows. Inventory: carved oak pulpit, mid-17th century, two text boards 1693, copper crown (17th century ?) and a number of tombstones (17th-18th centuries). The church was restored around 1954. Organ with two manuals and attached pedal built by L. van Dam and Sons in 1869. This organ originates from the Reformed church at Irnsum.
