Omschrijving
TWEE HARDSTENEN VAZEN OP SOKKELS aan het voorplein. Twee slanke natuurstenen tuinvazen met hoge, oorspronkelijk vermoedelijk niet bijbehorende deksels, waarschijnlijk uit de 19e eeuw daterend, op het voorplein ter weerszijden van de balustrades van de toegangsbrug. Op de kelk van de vazen cartouches met putti met attributen, die mogelijk de seizoenen en de dag en de nacht voorstellen. De vazen, die vrijwel identiek zijn aan een vaas op Vijversburg (Tietjerk), zijn geplaatst op twee door een geprofileerde plaat afgedekte hardstenen sokkels, die zich naar boven toe boogsgewijs verjongen.

Description
TWO HARDSTONE VASES ON PLINTHS at the front courtyard. Two slender natural stone garden vases with tall, originally presumably not matching lids, probably dating from the 19th century, on the front courtyard on either side of the balusters of the access bridge. On the bowl of the vases cartouches with putti with attributes, possibly representing the seasons and day and night. The vases, which are almost identical to a vase at Vijversburg (Tietjerk), are placed on two hardstone plinths covered by a moulded plate, which taper upwards in an arched manner.
