RAADHUIS. Het oudste gedeelte (het oorspronkelijke vleeshuis en het benedenstuk van de toren) XVI; uitbreiding in Vlaamse stijl plm 1550; toevoeging burgemeesterskamer 1661 en vervolgens verbouwing 1775. Bekroning van de toren 1550-1554. Inwendig: zalen met stucwerk daterend van de XVIII verbouwing en op de zolder mooi ziende kap van de XVI verbouwing. Klokkenspel, bestaande uit 15 klokken van Taylor, 1927 en 22 moderne klokken.

TOWN HALL. The oldest part (the original meat market and the lower section of the tower) XVI; extension in Flemish style circa 1550; addition of burgomaster's chamber 1661 and subsequently rebuilt 1775. Completion of the tower 1550-1554. Interior: halls with stucco dating from the XVIII rebuilding and in the attic a fine roof truss structure from the XVI rebuilding. Carillon, consisting of 15 bells by Taylor, 1927 and 22 modern bells.
