Poortgebouw, Edisonplein 23-26).
Hoger dan de te weerszijden aansluitende rij woningen, namelijk met kapverdieping opgetrokken, in het midden teruggerooide, poortbebouwing met vier woningvarianten, met horizontale vensters direct onder de dakgoot. In de centrale, rechthoekige, poort bevinden zich de ingangen voor de twee middelste woningen (nrs 24 en 26), terwijl de aansluitende dwarsvleugels elk aan de zijde van het binnenplein een ingang hebben; deze dwarsvleugels zijn verder voorzien van een punttopgevel en een a-symmetrisch, geknikt zadeldak, waarvan de dakvoet aan de poortzijde vrijwel tot op de grond is doorgezet. De poortwoningen hebben aan de achterzijde elk een lage, plat afgedekte aanbouw.
Voor het overige is dezelfde vormgeving toegepast als elders in het reeds onder monumentnummer 407233 beschreven complex.

Description
Gateway building, Edisonplein 23-26.
Higher than the adjoining row of houses on either side, namely built with attic storey, in the middle set-back, gateway building with four house variants, with horizontal windows directly under the roof eaves. In the central, rectangular, gateway are situated the entrances for the two middle houses (nos 24 and 26), while the adjoining transverse wings each have an entrance on the side of the inner courtyard; these transverse wings are furthermore provided with a pointed-top gable and an asymmetrical, bent gabled roof, of which the roof edge on the gateway side is extended almost to ground level. The gateway houses each have a low, flat-topped extension on the rear.
For the rest the same design has been applied as elsewhere in the complex already described under monument number 407233.
