Landscape setting featuring a well-situated complex consisting of a farmhouse with a detached Flemish barn and bakehouse. A long-facade farmhouse situated in open countryside, of which the dwelling house dates from the early 19th century and the adjoining stable with transverse section was modified in 1934. The dwelling house is oriented with its short gable facing the road and is constructed of small yellow brick under a reed-thatched gabled roof; the gable end is rendered; the entrance is located in the left side facade and consists of a striped door with a fanlight above it; to the left and right of it an original 20-pane sash window, of which the glazing in the lower frame has been altered; in the front facade a narrow 12-pane window on the left side and a monastery window in the upper room on the right; on the upper storey two monastery windows; the right side facade has a window with horizontal glazing divided into three parts. The layout of the dwelling house with basement and upper room remains original, though the ceilings have been boarded over and the hearths have been fitted with 20th-century tilework. The adjoining stable with transverse section, built in larger-format brick, is covered by a gabled roof with diminished tiles, has a double divided door under concrete lintel, various stable doors and cast-iron windows; against the right side facade a lean-to structure has been placed. The large 19th-century Flemish barn is positioned slightly back on the farmyard, parallel to the left side facade of the farmhouse; the reed-thatched barn is constructed of brick, standing and lying weatherboarding, and has high cart doors beneath the hinged roof on the right side, both facing the road and the field; the thatched hipped roof is supported by an oak timber-frame structure with incised carpenters' marks and dates. The barn is, both in volume and form, a remarkable structure for this region. The 19th-century bakehouse stands with its short gables facing the farmhouse and barn; the entrance is located in the short right side facade, a second door in the right long facade; the short gables are rendered, the bakehouse is constructed of red brick under a red-tile gabled roof; the chimney is positioned above the left short gable.
