Omschrijving
Herv.Kerk en toren op verhoogd kerkhof. De kerk bestaat uit een aanvankelijk aan de westzijde vrijstaande en thans aan de oostzijde ingekort eenbeukig bakstenen schip, waarin moeten van kleine hoog geplaatste rondboogvensters. Tegen de westmuur is in de 18e eeuw een forse toren opgetrokken. In de kerk preekstoel met gesneden kuip, 1654 en klankbord. Offerblok. Banken met gesneden lijsten en twee rugschotten met opengewerkte bekroning. Orgel in kas met onderdelen uit 1704 blijkens gesneden wapens, gemaakt door Arp Schnitger. Enige zerken; achter de preekstoel epitaaf uit 1724. Koperen kroontje. Klokkenstoel met klok van Hermannus, 1410, diam. 96,5 cm. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Firma Van Bergen. Het oude smeedijzeren torenuurwerk is overgebracht naar Gem. Museum Appingedam.

Description
Reformed Church and tower on elevated churchyard. The church consists of a single-aisle brick nave, originally detached on the west side and now shortened on the east side, in which fragments of small high-placed semicircular windows. Against the west wall a substantial tower was erected in the 18th century. In the church a pulpit with carved bowl, 1654 and sounding board. Alms box. Benches with carved mouldings and two backrests with openwork finials. Organ in case with components from 1704 as evidenced by carved coats of arms, made by Arp Schnitger. Some gravestones; behind the pulpit an epitaph from 1724. Brass crown. Bell frame with bell by Hermannus, 1410, diameter 96.5 cm. Mechanical tower clock, Firma Van Bergen. The old wrought-iron tower clock has been transferred to the Municipal Museum Appingedam.
