Omschrijving
De bakstenen TOREN uit de tweede helft der 15e eeuw heeft tegen de noordgevel een ronde traptoren met spits. De bekroning uit omstreeks 1530 bestaat uit een spits met open lantaarn en bekronende bol. Deze torenbekroning werd, na door de Duitsers in 1944 te zijn gedemonteerd, in 1957-'58 in de oude vorm herbouwd. In de lantaarn een klokkenspel, waarvan 15 klokken gegoten door P. en F. Hemony, 1654; 2 door J.A. de Grave, 1721. De uurslagklok van Jasper Moer, 1533, is in 1958 naar de Hervormde Maartenskerk (apart monumentnummer 40181) overgebracht en staat aldaar in de kerk opgesteld. Trommelspeelwerk van Willem Wijnens, ca. 1733, is buiten gebruik gesteld. In de westgevel van de toren een ruiterspel, 1654.

Description
The brick TOWER from the second half of the 15th century has against the north facade a round stair turret with spire. The crown dating from around 1530 consists of a spire with open lantern and crowned finial. This tower crown was, after being dismantled by the Germans in 1944, rebuilt in 1957-'58 in the old form. In the lantern a carillon, of which 15 bells cast by P. and F. Hemony, 1654; 2 by J.A. de Grave, 1721. The striking clock by Jasper Moer, 1533, was transferred in 1958 to the Reformed Maartenskerk (separate monument number 40181) and is displayed there in the church. Drum mechanism by Willem Wijnens, around 1733, has been taken out of service. In the west facade of the tower a rider mechanism, 1654.
