PAND op de hoek van de Ruiterstraat, bestaande uit de huizen "de Ark" (links) en "de Trippen" (rechts). Het huis "de Ark" bezit aan de Kerkstraat een trapgevel met geprofileerde puibalk en waterlijst, natuurstenen banden, geprofileerde dekplaten op de trappen, een geprofileerde en geblokte ontlastingsboog op consoles boven het zoldervenster en een toppilaster op maskerconsole. Gedateerd 1610. Rechts hiernaast op de hoek van de Ruiterstraat het huis "de Trippen" met een tot puntgevel gewijzigde trapgevel, eerste kwart 17e eeuw, met geprofileerde puibalk en waterlijst, waaronder tandingen. Description
BUILDING on the corner of the Ruiterstraat, consisting of the houses "de Ark" (left) and "de Trippen" (right). The house "de Ark" has on the Kerkstraat a stepped gable with moulded jettied beam and drip moulding, natural stone bands, moulded coping stones on the steps, a moulded and blocked relieving arch on consoles above the attic window and a top pilaster on mask console. Dated 1610. To the right at the corner of the Ruiterstraat is the house "de Trippen" with a stepped gable modified to a pointed gable, first quarter of the 17th century, with moulded jettied beam and drip moulding, below which dentils. Door surround with framing of upper window, 18th century, cartouche with scrollwork, attic window with cross window. Rear building with pointed gable, provided with intermediate steps behind the right section. Rear building, parallel to the Kerkstraat, with gabled roof between pointed gables with intermediate steps behind the left section of the building. Important interior details from the period of construction.
