Oliemolen "De Os". Achtkante stellingmolen genaamd "De Os", daterend uit de 17e eeuw (oudste schriftelijke vermelding: 1663). In 1916 zijn kap en deel van gaande werk (roeden, bovenas, bovenwiel en bovenschijfloop) verwijderd en werd de koningsspil ingekort tot onder de kapzolder. Sedertdien werd gaande werk aangedreven door motor in stenen aanbouwtje tegen voet van molen. Kort daarna werd riet van de romp vervangen door bekleding van hout. Het aanwezige dubbele oliewerk bestaat uit een stel kantstenen, twee vuisters en een voor; en naslag, totaal zes stampers. Ten zuidoosten van de molen bevindt zich een aangebouwde, op bakstenen penanten staande houten molenschuur onder met pannen gedekt zadeldak. Hiervan diende de zolder voor zaadopslag en de benedenvloer voor het opslaan van de koeken. Aan het eind van de schuur bevonden zich het oliehuis en de timmerwerkplaats. De nog aanwezige oliekelder is verdeeld in vier compartimenten van elk 9 m3. Een houten oliepomp staat nog opgesteld, de andere drie zijn in opslag bij de Vereniging "De Zaansche Molen". Molenschuur bevat thans twee woningen. Ten noordwesten van de molen een vlakgedekte, uit hout opgetrokken blokvormige aanbouw met verdieping.

Description
Oil mill "De Os". Eight-sided staging mill called "De Os", dating from the 17th century (earliest written record: 1663). In 1916 the cap and part of the running machinery (sails, main shaft, main wheel and main disc bearing) were removed and the main shaft was shortened to below the cap floor. Since then the running machinery has been driven by a motor in a stone extension against the base of the mill. Shortly afterwards the reed of the hull was replaced by wooden cladding. The existing double oil press consists of a set of edgestones, two fulcrums and a fore- and back journal, totalling six stampers. To the south-east of the mill there is an attached wooden mill shed standing on brick piers with a gabled roof covered with tiles. The loft of this served for seed storage and the ground floor for storing cakes. At the end of the shed were the oil house and the carpentry workshop. The still-existing oil cellar is divided into four compartments of 9 m3 each. A wooden oil pump is still in place, the other three are in storage with the Society "De Zaansche Molen". The mill shed now contains two dwellings. To the north-west of the mill a flat-roofed timber-framed block-shaped extension with upper storey.
